The Gwent Group is made up of Gwent Electronic Materials Ltd. (GEM) & Applied Enzyme Technology Ltd. (AET).

The group has the ability to produce 500Kg batches of printable chemically modified inks including carbon-graphite, precious metal and insulator inks.

These materials can be deposited by screen printing, stencil printing, ink-jetting and flexographic printing.

We have patents & expertise in the fields of stabilisation, immobilization & deposition of proteins onto electrode surfaces. We have a line of enzyme & antibody stabilizer solutions.

We have developed & manufactured biosensors for diagnostic, healthcare, point of care, environmental and agrifood applications.

The Gwent Group has the capability to produce up to 500,000 sensors per annum.
