If you are travelling to the event by car, then we have made arrangements for parking at the Recreation Ground adjacent to the University.

There is a small charge of £2, payable directly to the Swansea Council attendants at the Recreation Ground.

There will also be a mini-bus shuttle (morning only) to take you directly to the ILS. The minibuses - white with a Swansea University logo - will run from 10am to 11am.

As delegates are leaving at different times, this service is not available for the return. However, it’s a pleasant 10 minute walk through the University’s Singleton Park campus.

Directions

From the east: Proceed along Mumbles Road towards the university and turn right at the traffic lights before the University.

You will see the recreation ground on your right hand side but there is no right-hand turn other than at the lights. Proceed to the mini-roundabout and take the last exit (ie, come back on yourself). Turn left at the lights and then left again, after the bus stop, into the recreation ground.

If you over-shoot the turning, carry on towards the University, turn right into the University campus, explain what’s happened at the security gate and you’ll be able to turn around and follow the directions below.

From the west.

Proceed along Mumbles Road past the University and through the next set of traffic lights.

Take the next left, after the bus stop, into the recreation ground.
